Care guide for your Selvedge
Le Beau Jean: our beauty tips
Your Selvedge will evolve over time and its indigo color will develop a patina depending on your lifestyle.

Washing
Wash your Selvedge Le Beau Jean as infrequently as possible: the less you wash it, the more authentic it will be and the more it will retain its colour. Instead, turn your trousers inside out, shake them well and let them air outside overnight, or even in a downpour.
Otherwise, when it is really dirty or stained, we recommend machine washing at 30° with a mild detergent. Wash it inside out if you want it to stay clean, or inside out if you want to accentuate its patina. Do not overload your machine, maximum 3 jeans at a time, otherwise you risk marking them with breaks.
Drying and ironing
Prefer air drying rather than tumble drying, it will be good for your Selvedge Le Beau Jean and you will save energy in the process... In addition, the heat can damage the denim and the seams.
No need to iron it, so your Selvedge Le Beau Jean will keep its "cool" look. If you must iron it, do it at a low temperature and inside out to avoid marks.
Evolution
Store your selvedge jeans on a hanger to avoid creases and wrinkles. If you must store them in a drawer, be sure to fold them neatly into 3 to avoid marks.
If your Selvedge Le Beau Jean has become too deformed over time when worn, you can put it back in place by putting it in the dryer for 20 minutes. The whiskers on your pants are made with natural products, after washing they naturally recreate themselves when worn.
Leg length
The leg length of a Selvedge is always longer than the "natural" leg length. This is intended for style because you will wear this Selvedge with an external cuff. This way the typical red edging of the high-end fabric of your Selvedge will be clearly visible.
