Let's be frank and direct: what do you expect from a hat? It should keep you warm, be soft to wear, and discreetly match your outfits. What else? And it should be Made in France, of course!
Like all Le Beau Jean accessories, this hat is made in France, in the Hauts de France region! With our high standards, knitting in France isn't everything. We wanted a beautiful product. The knitting is tight, regular, and homogeneous to produce a mesh that doesn't lose its shape. And since the hat is made without seams, it's soft to wear.
A length, the right length
The length was chosen to elegantly cover your head. It's not a short hat that would leave your forehead, ears, and neck exposed. Nor is it a long hat, one of those that gives the impression of empty volume. The dimensions of 21 cm with a 6 cm cuff are perfect.
In reality, this cuff is adjustable, it is intentionally not marked. This way you can adjust the depth of the cap depending on whether you want more volume, more ease around the skull or on the contrary a fitted headgear, worn as close as possible. Of course, this also applies depending on the date of your last visit to the hairdresser!
To wear your Le Beau Jean hat properly, here is our advice: put the hat on your head, make sure that the hat is in contact with your entire skull , that there is no space between the top of your head and the tip of the hat, then finally adjust the cuff to your liking on your forehead and ears.
A simple and effective, practical and comfortable hat
As a subtle detail, we've sewn a discreet logo onto the cuff. It's reminiscent of the woven label inside our jeans, the one placed on the waistband. You can choose to wear this superb logo on your temple, ear, or neck.
