In our previous articles, we introduced you to what selvedge denim is, as well as our desire to add one to our range.

As a premium brand and with the engineering that characterizes us, we have chosen to distinguish ourselves from above. Our first series of jeans is already well equipped, we decided to go even further. This new project consisted of evolving our jeans towards French manufacturing to prepare for you a true purist Selvedge . Read rather:

Developed in France (in our country, that is!), top-notch finishes, top-notch service, 3 silhouettes and two lengths to best suit your body shape, gentlemen!
Authentic Selvedge denim, produced in Italy, by our friends at Candiani Denim , in organic cotton (you can't see it, but it's better for people and the environment!).
Made in France in a historic workshop, with a young and motivated team from a large company that has reinvented itself over the years.
Finishing treatment carried out in France by an expert in the field, working with major luxury brands, while seeking to limit the environmental impact.

We have achieved a truly beautiful Selvedge jean - with the codes that go with it - in LBJ version. These are comfortable jeans , from the first wear, no need to suffer for weeks before the jeans have "given themselves". The judicious use of stretch and our in-house finish make your pants comfortable immediately!

These selvedge jeans adapt to your silhouette. "Good fit" is our number one reason for being! Choose the silhouette that suits you : Classic, Curved, or Smart. As always, we've chosen all the details that make Le Beau Jean jeans so beautiful and unique.

Putting all these features into a shaker was one thing. Making them happen was another. Moreover, the production operators weren't mistaken: they themselves declared that our jeans are a notch above what they had produced so far.

Thanks to the support of our friends at Kiplay and Bleu Océane , we can finally shout: COCORICO! We made it, despite the pitfalls and our very thick specifications!

More environmentally friendly jeans

We are very proud to present our new range of Selvedge jeans made in France. We have worked hard to offer you more responsible jeans , with the help of our manufacturing partners. This is where we start talking about CSR, we will come back to this in other articles.

Kiplay, which is responsible for making our jeans, is committed to the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact regarding corporate social responsibility (CSR), and that's no small feat. The company is ISO 14001 certified and is committed to a better world by recycling its waste, ensuring better working conditions for all, and contributing to the preservation of biodiversity. They have notably integrated beehives into their green spaces and grow their own honey – which is a hit!

Bleu Océane, with whom we worked on a process to pre-shrink your jeans and give them a pleasant and comfortable feel, is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified. They are committed to a more virtuous and environmentally friendly industrial process, including for clothing treatments, operations that have historically had an environmental impact. Their CSR strategy involves the development of clean and less water-intensive treatments , as well as improving well-being and quality of life at work.

As for us, we've always had the environment in mind. Remember, our first production already used recycled cotton. With this new range, we've gone further by reducing our footprint, manufacturing our Selvedge jeans in France with partners who share a societal and environmental vision , all while having fun! The best of the best at every level!
